GENERAL FILING INFORMATION

The Clerk's office is open Monday - Friday, 8a.m - 5p.m. EST except on court-observed holidays.

Electronic Filings:

The Court does not accept faxed or e-mailed filings. Parties represented by counsel are, however, required to submit all pleadings, except filings in death warrant cases, through the Florida Courts eFiling Portal (“Portal”). No paper submission is required or will be accepted if the document is successfully filed within the Portal. (AOSC13-7.)

The internet address for the Portal is https://www.myflcourtaccess.com.  Attorneys are urged to check periodically on the Supreme Court E-Filing web page for updates. 

Pro se litigants and attorneys who are not in good standing may not file documents through the Portal and must file one original paper copy of any documents to be filed with the Clerk’s Office at the above noted address.

NOTE: Recent changes in the Florida Rules of Judicial Administration REQUIRE all judicial branch electronic records to be accessible to person's with disabilities effective January 1, 2012.

Inquiries about the status of cases can be directed to the Clerk of the Court at (850) 488-0125.

After Hours Filings:

Portal filings are accepted and dated for that submission date until 11:59:59 p.m. Any required paper filings, including those of pro se litigants, must be delivered during normal working hours which are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, Eastern Time. Filings delivered to the Court after 5:00 p.m. will not be accepted. If a filing cannot be delivered prior to 5:00 p.m. a motion for extension of time should be filed prior to 5:00 p.m. that day.

BRIEFS WHICH DO NOT CONFORM TO THE TYPE SIZE AS SET FORTH IN THE FLORIDA RULE OF APPELLATE PROCEDURE 9.210 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
