CLERK'S OFFICENew. Under Rule 2.236, all electronic initiatives will now be approved by the Florida Courts Technology Commission and will not require an administrative order to be issued by the Supreme Court. To view approvals and the status of pending requests, please visit the Office of the State Courts Administrator’s (OSCA) court technology website http://www.flcourts.org/gen_public/technology/e-filinginfostatus.shtml. The Office of the Clerk is responsible for maintaining all case files and tracking the progress of all cases through the Supreme Court. Any questions concerning the Court's procedures or the status of a particular case before the Court should be directed to the Clerk's Office, not to the Justices' offices. The Clerk's Office is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday each week except when the building is closed. Please see the HOLIDAY SCHEDULE for a listing of days the office is closed. The Court does not currently accept filings electronically, either by e-mail or fax without prior permission from the Court. Electronic copies of certain documents must be submitted to the Court in accordance with AOSC04-84. Inquiries about the status of cases should be directed to the Clerk of the Court at (850) 488-0125.
