CONSTITUTION DAY
SEPTEMBER 13, 2005


Student posing as a "justice"On September 13, 2005, the Florida Supreme Court held a special ceremonial session recognizing Constitution Day. The program included signing a Proclamation by the Chief Justice, a group reading of the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution and much more.

The ceremony was followed by a reception in the rotunda that included an opportunity for students and others to sign the U.S. Constitution, view historical exhibits, play computer games and dress up as a justice for their "portrait". "Ben Franklin"

Three Individual elementary educational sessions involving the "Invaders Activity" followed and a round-table discussion for high school students, lead by Chief Justice Barbara Pariente and Justice Raoul Cantero followed in the courtroom.
