THE HISTORICAL TOUR EXPERIENCE

The Historical Tour Experience brings the history of the Court alive as visitors learn fascinating facts about the court system, the supreme court building and the personalities that have given life to the Court over the years.

Among other fascinating stories, visitors will hear stories about the the bullet hole in the front door, the "faceless justice", and the justice who was stopped by a security officer for whistling in the hallway and told whistling was not allowed in the building!

Areas visited on the Historical Tour include the courtroom, Rotunda, Lawyer's Lounge, Library and Rare Book Room, the Portrait gallery and the "Evolution of Justice" historical document display in the upper rotunda.
