Duties: Advise the Court on extraordinary writ petitions and motions, Bar discipline/admission and rule/jury instruction cases, and various other duties
Education & Training: Accredited law school graduate, top 25%, journal experience preferred
Skills & Experience: Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently or with team, maintain large caseload, meet deadlines, work effectively with Justices and staff, maintain confidentiality
Primary selection criteria: Class rank; law review or comparable; work experience; writing and research skills

Florida Bar membership required, current or sitting for next exam
Salary: The current salary is $4,112.69 or $4,811.13 (monthly) dependent on experience. Appointments are 10% below the minimum ($3,701.49 monthly) if the individual is sitting for the Florida Bar Exam, and until Bar membership is attained.
