Primary selection criteria: Class rank in top 10%; law review or comparable (law review editor preferred); writing and research experience

Number of clerkships available: Varies from year to year
Salary: The minimum salary for staff attorneys is $57,906.69, with graduation from an accredited law school and membership in the Florida Bar. Positions usually are filled at the minimum due to budget constraints. Appointments are 10% below the minimum ($52,116.02) if the individual is not a member of the Florida Bar.
