Justice Peggy Quince (retired) inducted into the Warren E. Burger Society

Retired Justice Peggy Quince was inducted into the National Center for State Courts’ Warren E. Burger Society on November 21 in Washington, D.C.  The Burger Society honors individuals who have used their time, talent, and support to the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) in exceptional ways.

The Society is named for the former chief justice of the United States who helped found NCSC in 1971.

Justice Quince was appointed to the Florida Supreme Court in 1998, and in 2008, she was named Chief Justice, a position she held for two years. She retired in January 2019.
